WHAT OWNERS SAY
❝
I was skeptical about all-season tires until I got the Set of 4 (Four) Travelstar UN99 All Season 225/60R16 98H. These babies come with a 50,000 mile tread wear warranty and a five-year limited manufacturer’s guarantee, so I know they’re built to last.
❝
I never thought tires could make me smile, but the Set of 4 (Four) Travelstar UN99 All Season 225/60R16 98H All Season Radial Passenger Car Tire 225/60/16 did just that! The optimized pitch design means my drives are so peaceful, I almost forget I’m on the road.
❝
I found that some Travelstar models can be noisier compared to other brands I’ve used. On highways, the road noise was more noticeable, which affected my comfort during long drives.
❝
The Set of 4 (Four) Travelstar UN99 All Season 225/60R16 98H tires turned my car into a cornering ninja! The optimized center rib design gave me razor-sharp steering and made every twist and turn feel like a breeze. I love that they’re M+S rated, so I don’t have to switch tires every season—talk about convenience!
❝
While the tires performed adequately in dry conditions, I experienced some slipping and reduced grip in heavy rain. This made me cautious during wet weather, especially on slick roads.
❝
The drawback here is the tread life with a 50,000 mile warranty, much lower than the norm for a touring tire. We expect around 60,000 to 65,000 miles even on budget options.
❝
One issue I noticed early on was faster-than-expected tread wear. Even with proper maintenance like regular rotations and correct tire pressure, my tires showed signs of wear sooner than I anticipated. This was frustrating because I expected them to last longer based on the manufacturer’s claims.
