First thing I noticed was how much nicer these ride than the Bridgestones. Major improvement in ride quality. They are both quieter and softer riding -- something I was after as this car is a daily driver, not a track car.

Noise, very, very low at highway speed, and on un even concrete surfaces. Wet, warm and cold temps. Very sticky. I'm very impressed with the we weather handling, inspired a lot of confidence. Far superior grip over the Bridgestones Pole positions I've been running. Dry, medium temp driving (70 deg ambient, 73 deg road).

Running these on a 1.8T mk2 Golf.. traction is a problem on average launches in the dry, fine elsewhere though... until it gets even slightly damp, then it's like piloting a greased pig. These are verging on dangerous when it's wet.. worst tyres i've ever had in that respect.

i can't fault the T1R's really...especially the fact that they're a LOT quieter than other brands at high speeds and they do give you enough grip wet or dry, however, as mentioned previously they seem to prefer wet or dry on both extremes and

I run the T1Rs on my Audi and they are an excellent tire. I find these tires have excellent grip in the dry. Search this site, in particular the E55 forum, they all say good things about the T1Rs as well. I've found grip in the rain to be perfectly fine as well.
