WHAT OWNERS SAY
❝
I use these tires for racing and they amazing,, great for handling around turns , work well with heat , cold and rain ,, tires out last many other tires I have tried .. highly recommend them
❝
In terms of performance during lifespan, I feel that the Proxes RRs stayed pretty consistent during the 20+ heat cycles on the first set.
❝
Toyo RR's are a trash tier old tech tire. you can setup a car around **** grip for a NASA class but if your car is setup for hoho's you're gonna have a bad time running RR's A052 is a much better option and I'd even run an RT660 over an RR.
❝
Definitely softer, grippier than the NT01, as evidenced by the much lower treadwear rating. Much quieter than the NT01, although they still manage to chatter/communicate near the limit. Wear so far has been surprisingly good--I got 20 heat cycles out of the first set, and they probably had a few more left in them.
❝
The Toyo RR is a great track day tire with consistent performance and long life. You’ll pay a little more for that, though, with our size selling for close to $290 each.
❝
They do last pretty well if you treat them ok and don't overheat or overdrive them. I recoomend they be heat cycled first and then you should see 6-8 great sessions 20-30 mins and then fall off but i always got a lot of life out of them, up to maybe 24 sessions before cording.
