I just looked them up, they have 21/32 tread which isn't anything crazy actual depth is probably 20/32...but they might still have some squirm; which is what I'm guessing you are feeling

I just put a set on my 16 5500. I have only put 2500 miles on them so far but I really like them. They have good traction off-road and seemed to balance well using beads. They do hum some and were a little squirrelly at first.

I had a set of Toyo open country R/T, 265/70R17 (stock size) on my 2006 3500. I didn't like them, very rough ride, only lasted about 35K miles until 1/16" of tread, poor traction, even when new, truck handled very poorly, would wander and like to follow grooves.

I loved mine on my 2nd gen aside from a humming sound at 45 mph+. That was with the loudest Cummins ever made the 24v. Tough tire. Yeah,nothing in an oversize. They balance easily like most Toyos. Prior to these I had some KO2's. Off the chart upgrade.
