The 36% noise reduction over the Mud Grappler line is real — you can hold a conversation without shouting. Traction on mud, sand, and light snow has been excellent, and I haven’t picked up a single puncture.

I have had my trail grapplers for about 15k miles. They are Great. There is more noise than the terra grapplers but the aggressive stance and appearance is worth it to me. The noise is not unbearable like mud tires, pretty much closer to the sound of terra grapps than mud tires.

I attribute the success of the tires to how well they cleaned (able to get debris out of the tread), the meaty tread lugs, sidewall lugs, and tire size. Even though they cleaned well, there were times the tires would get "gummed" up with dirt/mud.

Despite the mud-terrain rating, I have found the Trail Grappler to be a fairly quiet tire and smooth as can be during these adventures, even after significant wear. The on-road mannerisms are of the best I have found amongst other tires in the same class, even in unfavorable weather conditions.

The TG Mts won my confidence and I never experienced a traction issue. Before I removed them I racked up 50,000 miles on a 5 tire ration and the tread is more than half way gone. I still have them on a pallet. Die hard tire.
