As with any tire, when they’re worn, especially on the rear they loose their grip which is especially noticeable in the wet with BMW M torque. I’ve spun our 2011 M3 on an autocross course in just such a circumstance.

So price aside, I must say the tire is otherwise great. It is VERY quiet and rides comfortably, making it an awesome tire for a daily driver…and when pushed in performance driving, it is very compliant and predictable.

The car feels like it is glued to the road. It brings out the real performance of the car. Then I got on the highway heading home, and I noticed the tires are dead quiet. Awesome performance AND comfort! In just a few days I am totally sold on these tires.

On smooth highways, the tire is genuinely comfortable. I completed several multi-hour drives without any fatigue from excessive harshness. The reinforced sidewall provides excellent stability without the jarring impacts some competitors deliver.

This one I would not recommend. My car did not do good in the snow at all. There were a lot of scary moments where I thought that I’d need to get towed out from a completely flat road purely because my Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires wouldn’t grip on even light snow.
