The Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac RT absolutely excels on pavement hauling a 3,300-pound truck camper. We have been incredibly impressed with how quiet and smooth the tires are and that hasn’t changed in the 17 months we’ve owned them.

DuraTrac matched light snow terrains well, carrying itself even better than certain on-road AT tires. The compound’s symmetric design cleared snow off the way and retained most of its dry-road traction thanks to the TractiveGroove technologies, giving our Ford very little problem to work with.

What I don't know is whether this is my truck's fault or the tires. I rotated on schedule, but only balanced twice, and never had an alignment done - it's possible that may be the cause. Other than noise, in 60k miles I still have enough tread to where I could go 70k.

I have owned 3 set of Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac the first 2 sets were 255/75r17 and now I have 285/70r17. They are fantastic tires and very good in mud, sand, dirt, and amazing in the snow. The can be a little wobbly in loose gravel.
