These tires have really been a good match for my 2006 Ford Expedition 4x4. I recently purchased all 4 after running that set of Goodyear Wrangler AT/S for 10 years putting some where around 65,000~70,000 miles of those miles 90% were accumulated in town or two lane county roads.

The Goodyear Wrangler At/S is designed for all-season use and offers excellent traction on both wet and dry roads. I have driven through heavy rainstorms with these tires and felt confident in their grip on the road.

While primarily an offroad tire, I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the ride remained on highways and city streets. The noise level was reasonable, and handling stayed predictable. This made my daily driving much more enjoyable compared to other aggressive tires I’ve tried.

Right out of the gate, I was impressed by how composed the Wrangler AT/S felt on dry pavement. There’s a confidence to the steering response that you don’t always get with all-terrain tires.

Ride comfort is decent for the category. The reinforced sidewalls add some stiffness, which translates to a slightly firmer ride over bumps and expansion joints. But I wouldn’t call it harsh. It’s a tradeoff you make when you want off-road durability.
