WHAT OWNERS SAY

On the road, it will offer everything that a regular driver would need and more. Plenty of grip and traction for your everyday commute combined with a relatively long warranty for an all-terrain tire is something that I can appreciate.

This was with brand new Goodyear Wrangler Armortrac tires, not highway tires. After getting into Eagle Plains we heard later that they closed that stretch since a set of north bound semis pulling dual tanker trailers got stuck.

In terms of comfort and refinement, the Wrangler ArmorTrac is a bit disappointing, and I think Goodyear could have done more. In general, the ride comfort isn’t terrible, and the tire does an okay job at ironing out road imperfections. The problem is that, at times, the ride feels a bit harsh.

We had a new set of Goodyear Armortrac on rear of truck with 14/32's at the start and they were down to 9/32's by the end of the 5,700 mile trip. They definitely helped save us from getting stuck on one stretch of the Dempster.

I believe that the Wrangler ArmorTrac is a tire with an excellent price-per-performance ratio. The starting price is a little under $120, which may sound like much, but in reality, it isn’t. Some premium all-terrain tires come with a higher price tag and offer better performance.
