ON JUNE 6TH THIS YEAR WE HAD A GOODYEAR G670 RV TIRE "BLOWOUT" WHILE TRAVELING THROUGH KENTUCKY ON I-65. THE TIRE WAS ON THE RIGHT FRONT OF THE COACH AND IT LITERALLY EXPLODED AND DID OVER $18,000 DOLLARS OF DAMAGE.

My steer tires showed up yesterday so I was able to get them installed and then took her for about a 15-mile test drive. WOW, road and handled fantastic. I have an appointment to get the alignment double checked this afternoon after making the alterations/modifications.

The Goodyear G670 RV 275/70R 22.5 tires are known for rivering, especially on the inside and ours were no exception. We had 28000 miles on them and they were to the point of exposing the inner layers of the tire. I'm sure the steel belts were not far from showing.

I tried the good year G670 19.9. For some reason they would not balance or maybe it was out of round tires. In two days took the GY's off and went back to Michelin.

Actually I think the tires were the biggest issue. Based off of everything I have read from other owners with the G670 tires and my tire and alignment guys. They both told me the tires were going to be my issue and to just replace them and drive the heck out of it.
