Good points: Snow/Ice = Excellent. I have run them on 3 trips to the Alps with up to a foot of snow and they have been predicable, lots of traction and very sure footed. Tough = sidewalls have had a fair number of scrapes with granite rocks and they are still perfect.

BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A - Dry Handling We were surprised by how crisp the handling of the Kia Sportage was on these tires with a full, meaty sidewall. There was no lack of steering response. We detected no tire howl when cornering, and the tires offered excellent dry-weather grip.

I have put 12,000 miles on these tires and am not impressed. I bought them because I wanted a tire that had road manners, but were still capable to do some exploring, these do neither well. On paved roads they are awful in the rain. They spin and slide at every stop light.

The wet grip is BAD. Like really bad! At robots in the rain, touch the throttle to hard and its spinning for days ( I have an 2x4 hybrid) I once overtook a truck in the wet, and at 60km/l, my car started spinning its wheels.
