Thought I'd give an update after a summer on these tires. I've been driving the crap out of them, giving my swaybars a heavy workout and taking every corner aggressively. These tires are like glue. I absolutely love them. Especially in the rain, they've been remarkably grippy.

After approximately 3,000 miles on the Galaxy R1s, tread depth measurements show wear that’s tracking slightly faster than premium UHP tires I’ve run on the same car. Only drive in the dry and with normal civilized driving they are fine. No issues. As to road noise my setup is loud and I wouldn’t hear anything from the tires to begin with. Only nitpicking issue I can see is how they do the white lettering.

I still run them in 255/70R15 on one of my Roadmaster wagons. They held up very well, and they're still very grippy, though I don't drive that wagon very often. My daily driven wagon has 17" wheels, and those tires are only available in 15". I would recommend a more normal size like 235/70R15, though.

I've been using them for about two years. They're 235/60-15 all around. No problems. The RWL stay white. $94 a tire, at the time of purchase, I'm extremely happy with them. About 4000 miles on them and they look new. I was tired of messing with BFG

R1 in 215/60/15 as my cross country tire. They were the only V rated tire I could find with a 400 or < UTQG that wasn't hard as rocks like the BFG's. The tread pattern is also much more current (rain channels, etc.) than most of the other options in 15".
