There is doubt the Lexus GS350 is a refined and comfortable cruiser. It’s a Lexus! It’s what supposed to do! In this regard, I felt that the Toyo Versado Noir is a perfect fit for the Lexus GS350.

Car handles better, which I wasn't really expecting, so a nice surprise. Roadholding is better around corners and turn in is also a bit more responsive. It's still an LS and isn't suddenly a sports sedan, but there is enough of a difference to notice.

Car is smooth as can be, but it's an LS so not unexpected. Car is definitely quieter (road noise) up to about 50 mph or so. After that I can't really notice a difference. Small road impacts seems smoother/quieter. A set of train tracks I cross every day was definitely quieter.

The first part of my test drive consisted of driving over rain-drenched roads in crippling traffic. By the time I was on the freeway, the roads dried up and the sun was up again. However, I didn’t feel any loss of traction on slightly damp roads.

The Versado Noirs make less noise at highway speeds and absorb road imperfections more gracefully than the performance tires I grew accustomed to. When I would drive over highway joins with the old tires, I could feel and hear a “thunking” sound that isn’t present with the more comfort-oriented Versado Noirs.

The sidewalls feel softer and the trade-off there is that my TSX doesn’t feel as eager to corner and able to hang on during those corners as it used to. I can feel the tires squishing more around highway clover leafs, but it isn’t enough to be problematic.

I have nothing untoward to say about road noise, either. The Toyo Versado Noir simply rolled silently whether creeping over traffic or blasting on the highway. In fact, this tire scores high in terms of refinement since it is one of the most silent tires I have tested in this category.
