I daily drive my GTR, over 20k miles this past year. I've driven the 888's in the snow and was fine. Just gotta drive normal. Rain, I've had no problems. I've even sprinted over 100mph in the rain with these tires.

I've driving and ridden in GT-Rs with R888s in the rain and it can get hairy. Great dry tire, not very good in the rain thats just my experience though

You will be lucky to get 7-8,000 miles out of them. They're a superb dry road tire. I run them on my 900rwhp Supra and traction is as good as any drag radial I have used. They get slippery at times in the wet but overall they're not bad.

I drive to and from the track on them no problem. Got caught in the rain a couple of times and no problems there either but I was doing the speed limit. I got 40 heat cycles out of the set, 10 days. The fronts wore evenly at -2.

The r888 are good in humid/light rain conditions but when it starts pouring hard you need to drive slowly without aggresive acceleration otherwise its dangerous. Dry grip is phenomenal. Overall a great tire, Im between pss and r888 when the time comes but I think I'll repeat.
