I have these on my '02 obw and they are pure junk. They're not korean or chinese, made in japan. Vague sidewall, poor wet and dry traction, and snow traction is deplorable. When I can burn these pieces of junk off I'll be going to Michelin pilot sports.

I purchased two sets of these toyo eclipse tires for both my daughters cars new beetle and 06 outlander great tires expect high mileage returns from them. beetle has aprox, 65,000 and look like new outlander has 40,000

I have these tires on my car now. At about 5,000 miles I have almost no wear and good performance. They are VERY thick and stiff walled tires, put your hands on them and you will see. For my tire issues they are the right tire.

All the problems with vibration when away. Moral of the story, DON'T buy cheap off brand tires. I have spent months fighting this vibration problem having the tires balanced at the shop multiple times. I was surprised the shop gave me the upgrade, because it had been months. I got lucky I suppose.
