WHAT OWNERS SAY

I recently replaced a set of KO2’s with Recon Grapplers and couldn’t be happier. Do very well in rain and snow and quiet on the freeway. I would buy them again. They were a bit lighter too if I recall.

The tires have been great for towing. And are very quiet all around. The tire still grips on dirt roads and rocks and floats well over sand. The handling was great off-roading when we air down as well,” said Sara Morosan, who runs the LGE CTS Motorsports retail store in Upland, California.

Wet traction is poor. And it will obviously get worse, as tread wears down. Haven't hydroplaned on them, but acceleration and braking have become less than impressive. They spin a fair bit in the rain, with moderate, non-aggressive driving. I can't really comment on snow, as I haven't had them out in it much.

My MPG dropped from 21.5 to 19.3 and the ride was horrible. Luckily for me Discount Tire lets you swap out for something else. I had them install the same tires in the same size but in the standard load (SL) range or p-metric size 275/65R20 and couldn’t be happier.

As soon as I took my first drive, I could tell that my F-150’s handling had vastly improved with the Recon Grapplers compared to the OEM tires that were on it before.” Larry continued, “Plus, they’re quiet at highway speeds, even though the tread pattern is aggressive.
