In practice, this means the tire is remarkably quiet. At highway speeds, tire noise virtually disappears into the background. I could easily carry on conversations, listen to podcasts at low volume, and generally enjoy a much more serene cabin.

During heavy rainstorms, the tire’s hydroplaning resistance was outstanding. Driving through standing water on the highway, I never felt the unsettling float that cheaper tires produce. The wide circumferential grooves channel water away efficiently, and the high-density siping bites into the wet surface.

From the beginning I noticed how easily the front tires will spin on takeoff in the rain. This is a hybrid so it does have more torque but it is very easy to break the grip. Second, they are loud. Finally, at 35K and need replacement, and I have them rotated with every oil change.

My factory Michelin Primacy A/S Tyres are worn to 6/32 (Around 4.5mm) or a littles less. I am noticing the wet traction in standing water has deteriorated greatly. At highway speeds, when the vehicle encounters even shallow puddles the front tyres sometimes try to hydroplane and the cruise control kicks off.

My odometer is almost at 21,000. As of today, these tyres' tread depth is 5/32 in the front 4.5/32 in the rear. Wet traction is horrible, almost non-existent. Sipping is starting to wear away and is no long continuous between rain groove-to-rain groove. I have decided to replace these tyres for safety's sake.
