The Run Flat versus non-Run Flat is a debate that I feel will never end, some hate them, some love them.. I am the latter since I have two similar stories and have been using RunFlats for DD, Autocross and HPDE for over 5 years.

These Michelin tires replaced the original Goodyear's so I’ve always thought they handled well and were quiet in comparison to those OEM GY hockey pucks.

They put on Michelin Pilot Sport ZP tires (run flats). My 04 GTO does not have a pressure monitoring system, I recall that it is very bad (or maybe illegal) to install run flats on a car without TPMS. Is this correct or is my memory faulty?
