Compared to original Michelin PSC2, wet grip and aquaplaning resistance are massively improved, it took me a while to build trust in the wet, having had some moments on PSC2s before, but they are almost as good as PSS incredibly.

I run cup 2 on my e46 M3 265/35/18 square setup. I previously ran the on a 9” wide wheel and with them having a soft sidewall you could feel it rolling over on the sidewall. I now run them on a 10” rim and they are a lot better.

The bad: - It wears pretty fast for a tire that advertises itself as 240TW. I’ve done 3 track days and have ~1,500 miles on them, and they are pretty spent. - It's more temperature/pressure sensitive than the PS4S.

I love the tire and definitely handles the torque from the hybrid system better than the 4s and other tires in the past. There is no more slippage and hooks like crazy especially from a stop in manual mode. You can finally put all the torque down on a take off.

I did have a chance to drive these tires in extensive wet weather conditions, thank you California rain. It’s not really what they’re meant for, but they are a street tire. I can tell you with certainty and a mild case of post-traumatic stress that the Cup 2 doesn’t do rain well.
