WHAT OWNERS SAY
❝
I'm running the Michelin Defender2 on my 2012 Toyota Corolla and love them. Have racked up 11k in 12 months. Smoothe ride, good handling, good gas mileage, and excellent performance in wet conditions.
❝
Replaced all four Hankook tires on my KIA Sorento SUV with Michelin Defender 2. Immediately noticed much quieter tire especially on California's concrete freeways. If these tires give anywhere near the promised mileage I will call them the best tires I've ever purchased.
❝
The Michelin Defender2 provides predictable feedback, but its wet-weather grip is average at best. In heavy monsoon conditions, we noticed the ABS engaging sooner than expected during emergency stops. This is common for tires with high-mileage compounds that prioritize durability over maximum stickiness.
❝
During some night-time trips in wet weather when potholes are invisible, I slammed into some "monstah" potholes. The Defender2 tires took the abuse and showed no signs of damage.
❝
I traveled on day-long road trips to Pennsylvania and Ohio in some pretty bad weather. These tires outperformed all of my expectations.
❝
In the snow, I took it easy and played it safe. Still, the Defender2 tires gave me the confidence to drive the Accord even in some moderate storms. Be smart, and these tires will get you home safely. I had Michelin X-Ice tires in the past, and they are the gold standard.
❝
What surprised me most about the Defender 2 was how it handled heavy rain. Everyone’s heard a few criticisms here and there about its wet-road grip. But in the middle of a summer storm, wipers on full speed, the Defender 2 proved its worth. No sense of drifting, no worrisome loss of contact.
