WHAT OWNERS SAY

I will say they wear very well for a DOT R tire...I will also say that I would not recommend them as a daily driver, unless you are willing to live with their "issues". They have some tread, but don't do well with deep, standing water (they are surprisingly good in damp conditions, however).

I've run V700 (in 17-18" configuration) for the last couple of years. Always thought they were a good value for the grip they provided. I also ran them on the street keeping in mind I didn't run my car in the winter.

I wouldn't reccomend it, because when cold, coming out of your block, and you hit the first turn, you will end up in your neighbors front lawn! DOT race tires, need to be heated up just like a true slick.

I used to run A032s, Victoracers and RA1s on my SC. The A32s were not that great (hard to heat up, not grippy). I then went to Victoracers. Very impressed by thier stick. Yes, like RA1 they would get a bit greasy near the end of a rungroup.

For a number of years I've had very good luck with Kumho Victoracer V700 tires. They're not really competitive for autocross, however, for track events they're perfect: last a long time, perform decently, don't cord easily under braking (non-ABS car), and are relatively inexpensive.
