WHAT OWNERS SAY
❝
This is my second set of kumho tires and have zero complaints. Great in Florida rainy season as well. Low noise when driving at high speeds and great for year round driving. Affordable tires as well.
❝
My AWD Pro, with 19-inch rims, came with the Kumhos. So far we haven't seen a reason to dislike them.
❝
Started to howl around 15,000 miles bought on a brand new car. Asked the dealership to check and said "not bad". The noise has gotten much worse and at 25,000 miles KUMHO told me they should be quiet to 60,000 miles and to take to car dealer .
❝
Turn-in response is slightly improved, and the car seems to roll less into corners than it did before. I can take corners about 5-10km/h faster than before while feeling like there's less body roll in the process.
❝
The HP71 absorbs road imperfections beautifully. Expansion joints on bridges, rough patches of asphalt, uneven concrete highways — the tire smooths all of it out with a cushioned, refined feel. My family noticed the difference immediately.
❝
I am a cautious driver in the wet, but I found that I didn’t experience even a hint of hydroplaning, even when passing through deep puddles at 60 mph.
❝
So at 26K miles and one year the rear tires were pretty much shot and the front left had chips of rubber missing all around the tire. I think it was a manufacturing defect as other people have seen this with the stock tires. My car has 20 inch wheels.
❝
I spend a significant amount of my driving time on highways, and the HP71 feels planted and stable at speed. Lane changes are smooth with no vagueness in the steering response. There’s a nice, connected feeling through the wheel that tells you the tire is doing its job communicating road conditions to the driver.
❝
If I had to pick one single area where the Crugen HP71 stands out most, it’s wet traction. This tire’s ability to handle rain is genuinely excellent for its class. I never experienced a moment of hydroplaning, even at highway speeds in heavy rain. The tire maintained grip consistently, and steering input remained responsive.
