WHAT OWNERS SAY

Finally, big snow storm in Colorado Front Range. The TripleTred has superb snow traction. It runs over snow almost as if it's just dry sand. It skidded an inch or two in fast 90-degree turns, but that was just me stumpping on the gas.

In a nutshell they have MUCH more snow and ice traction than I would have guessed but they absolutely handle excellant. Combine those with the XREAS suspension and V8 and I feel as though I am in a sports car on the road.

I recently replaced the tires on the element with Goodyear Forteras. Great tire. I bought them thru www.914wheels.com.They are great in the snow/wet/dry. I used to buy snow tires but no more, I'm tired of paying for storage.

Back in 2008, we bought a set of Goodyear Fortera TripleTred tires (pictured at right) for our 2001 Chevy Tahoe. We absolutely loved those tires. They were quiet, we never got stuck in the Nebraska snow, and you couldn't hydroplane them even if you tried (and I did). Unfortunately, they wore out after just 4.

I switched to Goodyear Fortera Tripletreds in 235/70/16. They feel tuned to the Els suspension and stick like glue to the road. Ride is firm and responsive. Aggressive tread design ought to be good offroad. Tirerack.com rates them #1 SUV tire; tops in all
