These came as original fitted tires, and I was pleased to see they appeared to have some side protection for the alloys. It still wasn’t quite enough though and the alloys have suffered a couple of dings.

I generally liked these tires. No complaints about grip or handling in wet or dry conditions. However I have just replaced them with a different make of tire due to the number of punctures I’ve suffered in the last few months.

A good tire. Quiet, fuel efficient and good mileage. Downside is they seem a little delicate, likely from soft sidewalls. In 3 full sets of 4 I've had to replace at least 2 tires from punctures near the sidewall.

100,000km of quiet safe highway driving – After 100,000km of primarily highway driving in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, these tyres still had loads of tread depth and still safe, and quiet at 110km/h and in the wet. Had to replace due to tyre separation (bulges).

Really Good Tyres – Needed to replace my Michelin Primacy 3 run flat and these tyres were recommended by Bob Jane - Blacktown (awesome place and service). I’ve always said, there’s nothing good about a Goodyear tyre. Well, I stand corrected. Put these Goodyear Efficient Grips on my BMW X3 and I’m very impressed.

My 2023 VW Polo came fitted with these from the factory. They've been an excellent tyre with a very good balance of durability, comfort and performance over their 75,000km lifespan (with two rotations). Unfortunately, the 185/65 R15 size isn't available in Australia, so I will have to find something else, which is a shame.

During a particularly nasty rainstorm, I found myself driving on flooded highway sections. The Efficient Grip evacuated water impressively well, and I didn’t experience the nervous floating sensation that indicates hydroplaning. Braking distances on wet pavement felt reassuring. I never experienced that heart-stopping moment when you press the brake pedal and nothing seems to happen.

Highway noise levels impressed me. The tire rolls quietly at cruise speeds, without the droning hum that plagues some competitors. I could hold conversations at normal volume levels and enjoy my music without cranking up the stereo. For a tire focused primarily on fuel efficiency, this comfort was a welcome bonus.
