I have a set in 205/45/16r and was able to do 50 miles at the Nurburgring to "break them in" if you will. lol they are super grippy and the tread life looks like its on track to last a while.

All I can offer is that I literally just had a set of the Indy V2s installed on the Focus and so far I am super pleased. I haven't had it on track yet, but dry street performance is better than i had hoped for!

thanks...great read! I recently installed a set of the Firestone Indy 500 V2 as my 'street only' tires on my C6 Z06 in OEM sizes, replacing a 8yr old set of the V1. I was very happy with them in this application.

For two years now I’ve had trouble free driving with the Firestone tires. Warm, cold, rain, or dry, they’ve performed as expected, if not better. I also took my car to the track and found incredible levels of mechanical grip.

All I can say is that the V2 is quite a good all-arounder for the money. And it seems they solved their wet performance issue that the V1 had.
