The Falken Wildpeak AT4W performed extremely well on dry asphalt. One of my bigger worries was the sound that I thought all of the all-terrain tires made. However, the Wildpeaks didn’t just provide great traction and a feeling of stability; they were also very quiet.

The Falken Wildpeak AT4W delivered strong traction and reliable stability in wet conditions. After the heavy snowstorm, the snow began melting quickly, causing flooding on the roads. Did I think that the truck might hydroplane while driving through somewhat flooded roads? Not necessarily.

Given the tread pattern I find them surprisingly quiet, they are great in the rain, ok in the snow and otherwise very good overall.

I put a set of LT 285/65r20 AT/4 on my 2023 F350 at 16,428 miles in March 2024, and as of today, I have 62,814 That means they have 46,384 miles of wear on them. Still enough tread that I picking up rocks and holding them in the tread pattern.

The ride wasn’t bumpy or uncomfortable, but the bigger impacts were very noticeable. I was running them at around 35psi. The new AT4Ws seem to absorb these large impacts much better, transferring less of an impact to the cabin.

I was surprised at the soft ride I was experiencing with the new A/T 4s. In fact, they rode almost as well aired up as some other tires I’ve tested when aired down!

The on-road performance, road holding and stability was impressive. The tires were very quiet. Most new all-terrains are fairly quiet, but I can report that those I had installed on my Grand Cherokee almost two years ago are still quiet. I expect these 315s will be the same.
