These tires are fantastic. They are everything I expected them to be and more. For the price of these I am very impressed. I can launch hard in dry, damp, and even very wet conditions with little to no spinning.

Summary Thoughts I hate to criticize these Continentals for doing exactly what I needed them to do - add traction at the expense of range. In virtually every other dimension the Tour54 is a superstar. But I feel like a 10% drop in range is enormous.

And here's where the tables turn. I expected some loss of efficiency when switching away from the OE tires but I was hoping for only 5% or less drop. With the Ecopias, my efficiency on the guess-o-meter would vary from about 3.7 - 4.1 miles/kWh with 3.9 as a pretty stable year-round average.

The ride quality of the Tour54's also seems better than the Ecopias. I tried to keep the Ecopias at 38psi as I didn't like the stiff/bouncy ride as I went to higher pressures.
