never had the wheels balanced or a wheel alignment done, still drives perfect on bitumen ( wet and dry ) and dirt ( approx. 10% ) with reasonably even tyre wear. I drive almost all the time on country roads, give them a workout occasionally and average better fuel economy than advertised by Subaru.

After 25,000 km I felt they were losing their grip. Without saying this to the Subaru Service department, they advised me the the tyres will need replacing soon.

Bought a set of Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport, so far I am very pleased with them. The ride is excellent, very positive feel on the road, quiet, smooth and excellent handling. Too early to report on the economy factor but otherwise very pleased with these.

Stay away from it if you can – These were OEM tyres that came with the car back in 2022. Average at best. Wear rate is bad. Rotated at 12k and I got fed up so I changed it at 17k. Very noisy on highway. Wet traction isn’t that great either.

In steady rain on highways and surface streets, the Dueler H/P Sport AS performed very well. The circumferential grooves do an effective job channeling water away from the contact patch, and I felt confident maintaining normal driving speeds without any loss of traction.

Noise was the most noticeable trade-off for me. On smooth asphalt, the Dueler H/P Sport AS is reasonably quiet — there’s a mild hum at highway speed, but nothing intrusive. On coarser pavement surfaces, though, the tire generates a noticeable drone that I could hear even with the radio at moderate volume.

I want to be very honest about this: the Dueler H/P Sport AS is an all-season tire, not a winter tire. Bridgestone doesn’t market it as a snow-capable tire, and it does not carry the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol. During a light snowfall, I took the tires out on unplowed suburban roads.
