Therite Tactical ships all tire orders exclusively via FedEx. Depending on the delivery address, orders are shipped using FedEx Ground (Commercial) or FedEx Home Delivery (Residential). The most cost-effective FedEx service is automatically selected for each shipment.
Shipping Origins
Orders ship from authorized regional distribution centers located in the Southwestern United States and Southern California.
Shipping origin is selected automatically based on:
Inventory availability
Proximity to destination
Total delivered shipping cost
Thermite Tactical does not guarantee shipment from a specific warehouse or region.
Packaging & Weight
Tires ship unboxed (bare tire shipping) unless boxing is requested.
Dimensional weight is not applied for bare tire shipments.
Shipping weight is calculated using industry-standard tire weights based on tire size.
Residential vs. Commercial Delivery
Residential addresses ship via FedEx Home Delivery and may include a residential delivery surcharge.
Commercial addresses ship via FedEx Ground and typically offer lower shipping costs.
Customers may reduce shipping costs by shipping to a commercial address when available.
Surcharges & Fees
Shipping charges may include:
Fuel Surcharge: Applied at the current FedEx rate.
Residential Delivery Fee: Applied per tire for residential deliveries.
Additional Handling Fee: Applied only to oversized or heavy tires exceeding FedEx handling thresholds.
All applicable carrier discounts are applied before fuel surcharges, in accordance with Thermite Tactical’s negotiated rates.
Estimated Transit Times
Delivery times are estimates based on FedEx shipping zones:
Zones 2–3: 1–2 business days
Zones 4–6: 2–3 business days
Zones 7–8: 3–5 business days
Transit times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Important Notes
Shipping costs are calculated per tire and shown clearly at checkout or on quotes.
Tires cannot be shipped to PO boxes.
Orders shipping to competitor retail chains may be subject to review to avoid delivery issues.
